WHY WE LOVE IT:
Drift off the Puerto Rican mainland onto Culebra Island. A fairyland of fonds, ferns and flowers, Culebra is edged with a sparkling horseshoe stretch of snowy-white sands and glassy-clear water, known as Flamenco Beach. Extensive beach patrolling and cleaning makes it safe for all kids, including the one you married. We say, send them off to snorkel or dive in the coral reefs, while you unwind on one of the many beach chairs as you are served cocktails and snacks by a cute cabana boy. Flamenco Beach is also well equipped with bathroom nad changing rooms. So the only thing you’ll be stressed about is which bikini to wear.

Check out the manu turtles settlements and enjoy snorkeling and exotic bird- watching.

HOW TO GET THERE:
Fly to London Heathrow, then to Miami and then to San Juan. Take a ferry to Culebra Island eiter from Fajardo or Vieques. There is also an express ferry service from San Juan. You can get to the beach easily and inexpensively, just take a ‘public’ (taxi) or cycle.
