This show is quite enjoyable and relies heavily upon audience participation.

Dining in the hotel and casino can be quite the adventure without the assistance of horses and actors as there are several dining options including the Roundtable Buffet, The Steakhouse at Camelot, Regale Italian Eatery, Sherwood Forest Café, and how could we forget Sir Galahad's Pub and Prime Rib House?

If you're looking for the fairytale wedding of your dreams, then Excalibur has the package for you. You can even elect to rent medieval costumes in which to get married. There are many different packages available to fit various budgets and wedding needs. Wedding packages vary in price from around $400 plus $55 for the cost of the minister to around $1575 plus the cost of the minister. These are all rather basic packages and do not include extras such as costume rentals, extra poses for the wedding photos, or video and candle services.

Before your big day make sure you make liberal use of the spa services available at Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Of course this is a great idea even if you are just hoping to relax while on vacation. You remember relaxation right? That is what you did on occasion before you had children. If you are, have you already made your vacation plans? If not, you will have to start making those plans soon. When it comes to scheduling a Mexico vacation, you have a nubmer of different ways to make your reservations. You may be wondering which method is the best.

Booking a Mexico vacation is similar to booking a vacation anywhere else in the world. Before making reservations, you will have to select a vacation destination. Mexico is a large area that has a number of popular tourist attractions. If you are interested in vacationing at a well-known resort, booking your vacation may be easy. The most well-known vacation destinations in Mexico include beach resorts and golf resorts.

If you are interested in staying a resort, it is likely that the resort will have an online website. Many popular resorts in Mexico allow you to make and pay for your reservations online. If you are pressed for time or are looking for a simple way to book your Mexico vacation reservations, you may find this method of booking the best.

While beach and golf resorts are popular in Mexico, they are not the only place that you can stay while on vacation. Many individuals prefer to stay at a traditional hotel. Staying at on offshore hotel or dinning at an offshore restaurant is a cheaper alternative to vacationing at a resort. To book online reservations at these locations, you will have to find a well-known restaurant or a well-known hotel. The more popular a facility is, the more likely they will be to allow the online booking of reservations.

In addition to making your reservations online directly with a hotel, restaurant, or resort, you can use the services of an online travel website. Many online travel websites are also known as discount travel websites. This is because many of the sites offer valuable savings and discounts to internet users. Popular travel websites include Obtitz, Expedia, and Travelocity. With a discount travel website, it may be possible for you to book your travel accommodations and overnight accommodations all at once.

Many individuals enjoy booking their own vacations because it gives them the ability to have some freedom. While there are a nubmer of benefits to planning and scheduling your own vacation, it is often a time consuming process. If you are interested in seeking assistance, you may want to obtain the services of a travel agent. Travel agents can not only offer you Mexico vacation suggestions, but they can also make all of your reservations for you.

If your vacation destination is centered in an area that is not known as a tourist attraction, you may have a more difficult time making your reservations. This is because many unknown hotels, restaurants, golf courses, and resorts do not allow the online booking of reservations. To make a reservation you will most likely have to contact the golf course, restaurant, or hotel directly. If you are unable to find the information, you may want to obtain the services of a professional travel agent.

Whether you book your own reservations or you use the assistance of a travel agent, your vacation can be scheduled with ease. Once you make the appropriate reservations, you can begin preparing for your Mexico adventure.

Choosing a Hotel in Paris

How to Choose Paris hotels?
When choosing the right hotel you may want to check with your local travel agent or you may even want to go online to check out the site for hotels. Taking the time to plan your trip ahead of time is the best way to enjoy your vacation. Planning is not only needed to enjoy your vacation, but to stay within your budget, have access to entertainment, and have a backup plan should anything go awry.

When creating a Mexico travel plan, it is advised that you include the cost of your trip, as well as your spending money. If you are planning a family trip, you may want to let your children participate in the plan by letting them decide where they’d like to go and what they’d like to see. A Mexico travel plan is also important because it can and should be used to manage your time. Careful planning can prevent burnout. You are encouraged to make a list of the top destinations that you would like to see. Be sure to include museums, beaches, historical landmarks, and anything else that peaks your interest.

Planning your budget will help prevent spending on an impulse. You will find that there are many opportunities to purchase souvenirs in Mexico. With a preplanned budget, you should be able to enjoy the benefits of Mexican shopping. You can easily use calculators to determine the exchange rate between the United States and Mexico. Taking the exchange rate into consideration is the best way to effectively budget your money. You should also plan for tipping when preparing your budget.

If you decide to vacation at an all-inclusive resort, then the cost of airfare, hotel, and food will be provided for. However, it is important to note that certain restrictions may apply. At an all-inclusive resort, you will have to pay for the extras, so make sure that you include anything that you may to purchase. Extra money should be set aside for shopping in the markets and traveling outside of your resort.

Planning for your entertainment ahead of time will help to prevent overspending. You should determine ahead of time what activities you would like to engage in. Planning and budgeting for your Mexico vacation can be difficult, especially when it comes to entertainment. You may find that you and your family will want to make a last minute stop. This is why it is advised that you plan for unexpected stops and purchases. If you have already set aside some money for an unexpected activity, you won’t have to worry about the cost of a last minute decision.

Finally, your plan should consist of contact information and an emergency back up plan. Whenever you are visiting a foreign country, it is important that you create an itinerary with all of your information and the details of your trip. That itinerary should be left with a close friend, family member, neighbor, or co-worker. In addition, you should also register with the United States Embassy or Consulate offices when you arrive. If anything happens while you are in Mexico, seeking the help of the U.S. Embassy or the nearest consulate office will provide the quickest and most effective assistance.

Before leaving for Mexico, make sure that you have up-to-date passports for all family members, as well as other forms of identification. By creating a travel plan, sticking to your budget, and creating an emergency backup plan, you can ensure that you family will have a wonderful vacation in Mexico.

Circus Circus Family Fun Vegas Style

Circus Circus Las Vegas boasts of being the most kid friendly hotel in Las Vegas. With its big top attitude and its indoor amusement park it very well may be. In addition to being the most kid friendly hotel on the Las Vegas strip Circus Circus Hotel is also the fifth largest hotel in the world. Of course this is at the moment and that is subject to change at any time.

The beauty of this particular hotel doesn't lie so much in its size or even the circus like atmosphere. The charm lies in the fact that it was something new and relatively untried along the Vegas strip. Rather than build to suit the gamblers they were hoping to attract, this particular hotel was wise enough to offer something new and untried by appealing to families with children rather than solely to gamblers.

The gamble seems to be paying off in a city that is known for both its hits and its misses. Other hotels and casinos are also working to cultivate the family friendly image that Circus Circus has basically proven. Not only did this hotel build The Adventuredome Theme Park they also decided to make accommodations even more family friendly by accommodating RVs at the Circusland RV Park. This offers a great place for families to stay that might not otherwise grace the theme park, hotel, or the casino.

Don't forget that there is a casino involved and that is the primary purpose of this gigantic hotel, resort, and theme park. The casino makes the expense of building it all very much worthwhile and brings in big business of its own each and every day. In grand Vegas style there is also the requisite onsite shopping and of course full service of wedding options in addition to a wedding chapel and banquet facilities in which to hold the reception of your dreams. The shopping at Circus Circus offers everything from ultra exclusive boutique shops and salons to stores such as Under $10 and the trading Post, which offers fad jewelry and other kid friendly gifts.

This hotel has a somewhat unique concept that sets it apart from the many others along Vegas' strip. If you are traveling to Vegas with the family I very much recommend at least checking them out and comparing prices and packages with the other hotels and resorts in the area. Keep in mind that comps are like money in the bank particularly when they involve food or activities that you were planning to do even without the comps. So you may be able to negotiate a much better deal even if you're paying a couple more dollars a night by having free parking, complimentary meals, or tickets to events, shows, or attractions.

Now we're on to my favorite part of the discussion. Dining options. Circus Circus does not disappoint when it comes to offering variety to its guests. In addition to The Steakhouse, there is The Garden Grill, Mexitallia, Pink Pony, Circus Buffet, Pizzeria, Westside Deli, and Barista Café. The food offerings accommodate varying budgets and familial needs by offering some kid friendly dining choices to visitors and guests as well. The good news however is that if these restaurants aren't appealing to you there is another hotel, casino, or restaurant next door that has different fare to offer.

If you are looking for a great place to stay in Las Vegas along with the family there are very few hotels that will offer the overall environment of fun and wonder that you will find at Circus Circus. If not, do you plan to do so in the future? If so, there is a chance that you will notice some changes when you fly, those chances include new air travel rules. While a number of new rules have been implemented, there are some that may have a direct impact on you and how you pack your bags. That new rule is a ban on all liquids.

If you are planning of flying, whether it be tomorrow or in two months, you are advised to fully research and examine this new air travel ban. Since most individuals, including men, women, and children, fly with some sort of liquid, there is a good chance that you will need to alter your packing habits. When examining the liquid ban, it is important to remember one thing. Liquids are banned from being brought with you onto the airplane in your carry on luggage. This ban does not prohibit you from brining these items with you; it just means that you have to place them in your checked baggage.

When trying to determine which liquid items are prohibited from being stored in your carryon luggage, it is best to examine these items in different categories. This is because this new ban means that a large number of items are now only allowed in bags that will be checked upon arrival at the airport. In fact, there are too many items for you to individually learn about.

Some of the most popular items that are now included in the liquid air travel ban include health and beauty products, especially those that are liquid or gel based. For skincare, these items include hand lotions, hand sanitizers, and moisturizing creams. When it comes to cosmetics, all items are made of liquid are prohibited from being stored in your carryon luggage, even your purse. This means that you need to remove all mascara, liquid foundation, lip gloss, and other liquid based cosmetics from your carryon luggage. Other beauty products include shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, styling gel, mouthwash, and toothpaste.

In addition to health and beauty products, there are a fairly large number of food and drink products that you must either leave at home, discard before you enter the airport security area, or pack in your checked luggage. For beverages, this includes all liquid beverages, even those that are not opened. If you purchase a drink from a sterile restaurant or shopping store, past airport security, you will have to consume your drink before you begin boarding for your flight.

When it comes to food, you will also find that, like most beverages, items with liquid in them are banned. These items include, but are not limited to jello, soup, pudding, and yogurt. If you need to have food or snacks with you, you will want to purchase something from the airport vending machines or bring a small, dry snack from home. These items are the safest and most convenient to have when snacking aboard an airplane.

As you can easily see, there are an unlimited number of products, with a gel or liquid base, that you must place in your checked baggage. However, there are a few exceptions to this new air travel rule. When it comes to drinks, the only drinks, allowed on the airplane with you and other travelers is infant formula or milk based products for babies. While you can bring these items onboard, there is a good chance that they will be closely examined.

Another exception includes eye care products and medications. You are allowed to bring liquid medication onboard an airplane with you, as long as the medication is prescribed to you. Airport security will likely verify that your name matches the name on the prescription bottle. You can also bring onboard other non prescription products, including those needed for eye care; however, they must be no larger than four ounces in size. These items may include saline solution and eye drops.

By keeping the above mentioned information in mind, you should be able to prepare for your flight without having to be worried about airport security checkpoints. As long as you properly pack you bags, you shouldn’t experience any problems with airport security.

The Benefits of Staying Well Informed on All Air Travel Rules

Have you flown within the last year? How about within the last month? Even if you have, there is there is a good chance that things have changed since the last time that you were at the airport. While you may be thinking about the airport layout, it is actually the air travel rules that have likely changed. As more security issues arise, often on a daily or weekly basis, the airlines decide to enforce new travel rules. In the event that these new enforcements do go into effect, do you know how to go about finding what they are?

Before you can learn to famialrize yourself with new air travel rules, if there are any, you will want to understand the benefits of learning those rules. Unfortunately, too many travelers are worried about having the proper forms of identification that they don’t always worry about the items that they pack. If you are one of those individuals, there is a good chance that you may, unintentionally, pack items that are prohibited past airport security checkpoints. Depending on the prohibited item, you may be required to make additional accommodations, discard of the item, or turn it over to airport security.

In addition to prohibited items, there are also new air travel rules that apply to security screening procedures. For instance, all air travelers are now required to remove their shoes. Your shoes will be scanned along with the rest of your carryon luggage. While this may pose an inconvenience, it is a requirement. Failing to comply with this requirement, as well as others, may lead to you being detained by airport security or local authorities. In addition to missing your flight, you may even face prosecution for your actions. However, this can all be prevented by knowing and understanding the new air travel rules, as well as the old ones.

Perhaps, the best way to famialrize yourself with air travel rules is to go directly to the source. That source is the organization that makes and essentially enforces those rules, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). You can obtain valuable information from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), including information on air travel rules, by directly contacting them or by visiting their online website. That online website can be found at www.tsa.gov. You are advised to fully examine this online website. You will find that it has a large amount of information that you need to know.

In addition to using the internet to examine the online website of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), you can also use it to perform a standard internet search. By searching with the words new air travel rules, you should be provided with a number of different results. Those results are likely to include websites or news reports with information on air travel, including the rules that are enforced aboard all airplanes or in all airports. When doing this, it is important to keep your source of information in mind. A large number of websites with inaccurate, misleading, outdated information can be found online.

It may also be a good idea to contact the airline or airport that you plan on using. This contact can be made over the phone or the same information can easily be obtained online. Whether you visit the online website of a particular airline or airport or contact their representatives directly, you should be able to famialrize yourself with newly implemented air travel rules. It is also advised that you contact each airline or airport directly because they tend to have different rules. Airport screening procedures may vary from one airport to another, as well as rules aboard particular airlines.

With a small amount of time and research, you should easily be able to learn all of the rules of air travel, including the ones that were recently implemented. Not only will doing so make your flight more pleasant, but it will help to reduce wait times and ensure that you will make it to your intended destination.

THE BATHS, VIRGIN GORDA, BRITISH VIRGIN ISLAND

WHY WE LOVE IT:

Forget spa treatments, The Bath on Virgin Gorda will redefine your very concept of indulgence. Extensive beach patrolling and cleaning makes it safe for all kids, including the one you married. We say, send them off to snorkel or dive in the coral reefs, while you unwind on one of the many beach chairs as you are served cocktails and snacks by a cute cabana boy. Flamenco Beach is also well equipped with bathroom nad changing rooms. It's charm and character however are so much bigger, and some would find it hard to believe that such a small country could be so diverse and entertaining. In short, it is a place for culture, shopping, swimming, sports, spas, dining, language learning, business, diving, art, theatre, religion, photography, history... need we say more?
Maltese Culture

Malta's weather constitutes hot summers and mild winters, ideal for walking around the old villages and spectacular monuments throughout the Maltese island. The oldest and most impressive structures are the prehistoric temples which are even older than the Egyptian pyramids! A definite must-see! The island's rich history has also left behind a series of historical cities and buildings, particularly those built by the Knights of St. John which also merit a visit.

Malta is an island of traditions, each of which stem from this exquisite history. Such unique traditional elements in food, art and music are all still present all over the island. For instance The Ta' Qali craft village is the perfect place to go in order to really get a feel of the tradition art and crafts. The several museums of Malta that range from archaeology to classic cars are sure to keep someone busy for a series of days!

Things to do in Malta

If one prefers retail shopping, Sliema is probably the best place to visit as it consists of a few jam-packed shopping high-streets, together with one of Malta's most established shopping malls, with all the major brands one can think of. Wedged between the shops are numerous of the top Malta Restaurants and cafés of all varieties, always bustling with people sipping their wine or coffee or taking a quick bite.

On this tiny island, one can find some forty spa and health outlets, each with their own state of the art equipment and highly trained, professional staff. These include large spa facilities as well as smaller specialized outlets and oriental treatment clinics which include well-renowned health and wellness treatments, not to mention captivating massages. The possibilities of having a relaxing Malta Spa Holiday then, are also countless!

Furthermore, the theatre scene is bustling all year round with selections of classical concerts, operas, drama, musicals and comedy. In fact, it has become popular to go and enjoy a light meal and a bottle of wine at a local wine bar following a show at one of Malta's Theatres. Wining and Dining in Malta is of course not limited to such wine bars and extends to all sorts of cuisine scattered in every locality on the island, the most prominent being Mediterranean cuisine at some of the renowned Malta Restaurants. Malta's nightlife of parties, clubs and bars is also very active and is famous around Europe.

Photos Malta

The natural sea- and landscapes, the old historical buildings, the traditional elements and the archaeological monuments are just some of the subjects used by photographers all around the world, who visit the island in order to capture it with their lens. In recent years Malta tours have been created to cater for a more photographic experience of the island. Uphotomalta, for instance, is a company specifically designed for both professionals as well as amateurs who would like to explore the islands through their lens. They visit secluded parts of the island known only to the locals, as well as the most popular and breath-taking spots on the islands, taking some of the best possible photos along the way!

Malta Diving

In March 2009, some 35,000 readers of an international magazine called 'Diver' voted for the top diving destinations around the world. This year, the Mediterranean island of Malta placed first as the top European diving destination. Placing 3rd in the world, preceded only by Egypt and the Maldives in the International category, the little island proved that it has so much to offer and definitely merits the award. With over 35 diving sites, Malta has thus proved itself as a leading destination for a diving-based holiday as well. The several beaches and resorts also cater for relaxing holidays by the sea; swimming, sunbathing, and water sports.

For a diverse holiday that will appeal to every individual, choose Malta when planning your next holiday!

Mrs Claire Zammit Xuereb manages some of the best Malta Hotels and writes various topics about Malta. If you are looking for a truly unique holiday, then book your Accommodation Malta at a leading hotel which offers superior facilities.

Shopping in Turkey

With up to 400,000 visitors a day and a history that dates back to the 15th Century a must see site on your holiday in Turkey is the Kapalicarsi also known as the Grand Bazaar. Back in the 15th Century the Bazaar started off as two warehouses, but after several fires, an earthquake and numerous extensions and rebuilds, the Grand Bazaar is now Turkey's largest covered market and is thought to have over 3,000 shops on 61 streets which are named after the products which can be found on them.
There are 4 main entrances to the Bazaar. When entering one of the entrances of the Grand Bazaar you will instantly be hit by an array of bright colours, noises and exotic smells from the range of exciting goods on offer. The initial experience may feel overwhelming but as you wind through the streets of the Bazaar you will start to realise that amongst the chaos there is some structure to the layout.

Fundamentally the Bazaar is based around two bedestens which are domed structures used for storage. Near the bedestens you will find the more expensive products, as traditionally these were stored in the bedestens at night to keep the goods safe. Therefore you will find all the expensive products near each other. These products are also grouped together into types of products. For example jewellery and antiques are both expensive goods so will be near to each other but they will not be mixed together on the same street. As mentioned earlier the streets are named after the products which are found on them so you may enjoy learning to speak a bit of basic Turkish before your holiday to Turkey so you are able to find the products you are looking for with a little more ease.

Even though the navigation around the Bazaar may seem a little simpler now, there is still just so much to see, so it is still a good idea to spend at least half a day enjoying the bazaar while on your holiday to Turkey. The Grand Bazaar offers everything from beautiful handmade carpets and antiques, to spices and dried fruit. There is an abundance of treasures to discover so is the perfect place on your holiday in Turkey to pick up some unique souvenirs. A popular souvenir to buy is gold. Turks are renowned for being fond of gold, as in the past their currency has had a penchant to devalue, so they tend to invest in gold. It is also traditional in some parts of Turkey for the groom's family to present the bride's family with gold bracelets before they get married.

If however you have a passion for ceramics you will adore the Bazaar. Turkey has been producing beautiful coloured ceramics since the 16th century. The master potters from Kutahya are still making pottery and prices range from a few pounds to a few hundred pounds.

There are so many other interesting products to buy in the bazaar so you may want to brush up on your bartering tips before your holiday to Turkey, or you could just take pleasure in the architecture and the local people's Turkish hospitality and enjoy some window shopping. If you do want to shop but want to get out of the hustle and bustle, you can explore the bazaar and find plenty of quieter areas tucked away where the locals shop. The whole experience may sound very chaotic but if you are staying near Istanbul, your holiday in Turkey is not complete without getting lost in The Grand Bazaar.

Shereena Lingiah is the Marketing Manager for Anatolian Sky, a specialist travel company that provide the very best holidays in Turkey at extremely competitive prices. They provide tailor-made holidays to Turkey and Northern Cyprus, including the entire Anatolian region.

Decide How to Send Money to Canada Before You Visit

If you are planning a visit to Canada, you will need funds. If you don't want to carry cash with you over the border only to pay high exchange fees, it's understandable. Instead, you should learn a few ways to send money to Canada prior to your trip.

Sure, you could take cash in U.S. dollars with you to exchange at locales like Vancouver International Airport upon arrival, but expect some fees for this. Additionally, trying to find a location that exchanges money can be difficult depending on where you are, and most people want to relax during their vacation. Considering other options is a good idea.

You could send a bank draft, also known as a cashier's check, from the U.S. You could then cash it at a Canadian bank or credit union like Bank of Canada, but it typically takes two to three weeks to get the money. If you have no other way of paying for items, this could be very inconvenient.

Another option is to send an international money transfer using an outside service. It usually costs about $10, and takes about two weeks to go through. If you use HSBC, it costs $30 to send money from the one in the U.S. to the one in Canada, and $45 to send it to a completely different bank in Canada. However, this method takes only three to five days, which is not bad.

If you already know where you will be staying, you could send a prepaid debit card to that location so it's ready when you arrive. You could also simply send it to your current address to take along with you. The next step would be to add the money you need either online or by phone for a small fee of $5 USD. You would have the ability to use it to shop in Canada, or withdraw money in Canadian dollars from various ATMs. Clearly, this could be a valuable tool since you would have access to your money right away with minimal fees.

The exchange rate is currently favorable to Americans, but only slightly. $1 USD is equal to 1.09 Canadian dollars, but remember that the taxes in Canada are much higher than in the U.S., which may cancel out the favorable exchange rate. Most provinces in Canada charge about 13% for sales tax, which adds up quickly. Keep this in mind when budgeting.

The methods to send money to Canada vary, and you should choose depending on when you need the money. Another thing to keep in mind is the fees you will encounter for each method. Going to Canada will likely be no fun if you spend all your money on fees right when you arrive, so plan ahead.

For more information visit sending money to Canada or visit the https://www.atmcash.com/ home page for information on sending money almost anywhere in the world.

Spectacular Temples to Explore on Bali Holidays

The hotels in Bali may be opulent, but they have nothing on the decadent temples of the region. Of all the Bali temples the best known is the Besaikh Temple, which is also known as the Mother Temple. The temple is located on the side of Mount Agung, with the mountain peaks giving it an almost mythical quality. On your Bali holiday take a tour to this temple which is perched at 1,000 feet up the mountain and named after the dragon god that is said to inhabit the mountain. The Besaikh temple is the only temple in which a Hindu of any caste system can worship, and this is due to the eighteen separate sanctuaries housed within the Besaikh. The three main shrines in this temple are dedicated to the Hindu gods: Vishnu, Shiva and Brahma, and on your Bali holidays you will see a number of Balinese people who have made the pilgrimage to lay yellow marigold flowers upon their deities' shrines.
A popular temple with tourists on their Bali holiday tours is the 'Goa Lawah' which literally translates to 'Bat Cave'. The temple is not only a popular visitor attraction but is also a place of religious importance to the Balinese people. It is one of the nine directional temples that protect Bali from evil spirits, with the Goa Lawah protecting from the evil of the South-East. The temple is not for the faint-hearted on their Bali holidays, as it is located in a temple filled with thousands and thousands of flittering bats. If you're not keen on bats then you probably won't want to hear that the bat cave is also considered the home of the giant legendary snake, Naga Basuki, who was thought to be the caretaker of the earth's equilibrium.

If you're after a temple that's a little less sinister on your Bali holidays then why not take a trip to the Pura Luhur Temple? This temple is considered to be one of the best places in Bali to catch a sunset. Pura Luhur is located in Uluwata, which is also home to some of the best hotels in Bali, and with the Indian Ocean located nearby this is an ideal place to visit on your Bali tour holiday. The temple, which is dedicated to the spirits of the sea and made exclusively from black coral rock, is also considered to be one of the countries' archaeological wonders.

Another temple located next to the Indian Ocean is the Tanah Lot Temple, situated on a huge rock in the middle of the ocean. It was built in the 16th Century by one the last priests to come to Bali from Java, and like the Pura Luhur Temple, is also dedicated to the guardian spirits of the sea.

When you take a Bali holiday tour to the Tanah Lot Temple, you may want to watch your footing on the way up as the sea is littered with poisonous sea snakes. These are believed to be the temples guardians standing vigil against any evil spirits, or any would-be intruders who may want to visit the spectacular temple during their Bali holidays.

Claire Bryant is a Bali holidays specialist for key2holidays, an online tour operator specializing in Bali hotels, as well as holidays to Australia, South Africa, the Caribbean, Italy, the Far East, the Maldives, Mauritius Sri Lanka and the Seychelles, and Dubai. key2holidays has a dedicated team of experienced travel consultants to share their knowledge and help you to plan and book your ideal holiday.

Weekend Getaway - 5 Tips to Get the Most Out of Yours

Weekend getaway is great. Whether you go for any particular reason, or you just need to unwind, here are 5 practical guides of how to make the best of it.
1. Carry-on luggage only.

How long will you be gone, 3 days? Ladies, you certainly don't need 3 pair of shoes. Unless you go for a wedding, even so you might just need 2 pairs. Your dress shoes and your comfortable footwear, whether they're sneakers, sandals, tennis shoes, etc.

Having carry-on luggage only saves you TONS of time. You don't need to check it in, you don't have to worry it might get lost, you don't need to find out where the checked baggage terminal is and how to get there. And you certainly don't have to stand there and wait for your bags.

The only thing you need to make sure is your carry-on bags are within the allowable size to be carried on board. Check with your flight carrier prior to packing.

2. Bring just enough toiletries.

Hotels nowadays provide shampoo, facial soap and lotion (sometimes). So just bring enough toiletries with you on the bag. The rule is still 3-1-1 (type in Google "311" to learn more). So make sure you bring just what you need that won't be provided by the hotel, such as shaving cream, toothpaste, mouthwash, cologne/body spray, your own shampoo/facial wash if you need to use a particular brand. Now remember to buy all these in travel size. Wal-mart has them for around $1.00 (before tax), at least as per right now the time I'm writing this article. It's a good thing that nowadays convenience is not that expensive.

3. Plan ahead.

If not possible to plan ahead, at least reserve the hotels/cars/venues and purchase any tickets online. Trust me, other than for the convenience factor, they also confirm availability. If you have your own GPS, key in the addresses of places you'd go, before you leave the house. If you don't use GPS, print out MapQuest or Google Maps. Make sure you have something to guide you around in strange places and get you where you need to be.

4. Choose the right attraction or activity.

You only have 2 days. Good if you have 3, but let say you only have 2 days. You fly in Saturday morning, you fly out Sunday night. Flying out Monday morning doesn't make it 3 days vacation, because you still need to return the rental car, take shuttle to the terminal, and ready to get on board around 15 minutes prior to departing time.

So you only have 2 days, the best thing to do: TAKE THE CITY TOUR. Every major city has some sort of city tours, like Double-Decker bus (Philly), Boston Duck Tours (Boston) or any other local trolleys/buses. The reason, if you like the place a lot, make note of some interesting spots covered during the tour (listen to your guide) and make a mental note to check it out later. Or come back for another vacation, or extend your stay.

Either way, by taking the City Tour you cover a big chunk of the area. That way even though you don't get to visit any particular spots, at least you kind of have an idea what the city look like, feel like or was like (history).

5. Read reviews online.

For everything else, such as dining options, or hotels environment, always check ahead by looking for any reviews online. My favorite site is TripAdvisor, you might have some other sites which are your favorites. The important thing, always read reviews from REAL people. If you just go to the hotels/restaurant website or if you call them to get more information, they certainly will only tell you good things that they want you to know.

That should pretty much cover the big picture. When you ONLY have 2 DAYS, time is important. You need to choose what to do or where to go. Convenience is the key. Don't bring too much, don't worry too much. Just go. Obviously weekend getaways are not really vacation. It's supposed to be a refreshing break for you. So make it one.

Jean Kurniati works with Solo Entrepreneurs who struggle with time-management and work-life imbalance. The islands are home to unique and fascinating forms of life that are not found anywhere else on the planet. In the warm waters of the Galapagos, cormorants forgot to fly, iguanas learned to swim, turtles became gigantic, and sharks became mild.
This is a place where sea lions show off their swimming skills and blue-footed boobies perform their elegant two-step mating dance as if oblivious to your presence. The islands' absolute isolation and lack of human contact mean the inquisitive animals have never learned to fear people and will approach their visitors, happily posing for photographs.

Like most visitors enjoying Galapagos Islands vacations, I flew to the Islands from Quito, a 2.5 hour flight out over the Pacific Ocean. The islands' natural richness presents itself immediately, with iguanas sunbathing beside the landing strip and sea lions gazing impassively from the nearby beach.

From the airstrip we embarked a dingy that took us to our cruise liner, the Galapagos Legend. This 100 passenger vessel offers a luxurious introduction to the Galapagos Islands. Every day the cruise liner visits two islands and offers passengers guided visits of the island's exotic flora and fauna. Our group, given the name "Iguanas," disembarked at North Seymour Island, a very dry ecosystem, and here we observed multitudes of birds such as the blue footed booby and frigate, sea lions and iguanas. Here visitors will also find the endemic species of the fragrant, incense-like palo santo - or holy stick.

Back on board we enjoyed a few bottles of champagne that had been thoughtfully added to our room fridges, and had a great party in the pool and outdoor bar, dancing to the sound of salsa and meringue under the clear, star-studded night sky.

The following morning, and after a full, healthy breakfast, we disembarked at Dragon Hill at Santa Cruz Island, and saw giant cacti rivaled in size by huge iguanas. Just as our guide told us, where there are giant plants on the islands, you will find giant animals too. Colossal tortoises live in the upper highlands of this island, but we didn't get a chance to visit them.

After lunch, we had some down time to relax by the ship pool and enjoy the onboard facilities. It's impossible to get bored on a cruise liner when there were so many things to do! There was even a library on board, well stocked with books on Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.

That afternoon we listened to an interesting lecture about Floreana Island and its natural history. When you disembark here you are first struck by the beauty of the gorgeous white sandy beaches and elegant flamingos walking around in their natural habitat. We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of swimming and snorkeling with the playful sea lions in the clear blue-green waters.

After an excellent barbecue dinner back on the boat, we found ourselves congregating again at our favorite spot between bar and the pool. Dancing beneath a brilliant sky of stars in the Galapagos Islands - a recipe for lifelong memories!

The next day we visited the Galapagos' oldest island: Espanola. Here you can observe the majestic albatross - although keep in mind that these birds migrate from December to April, and therefore can not be found in the Galapagos during that time. If you are lucky you might witness a mating ceremony, characterized by the birds' odd beak movements.

Another stunning site is the soplador, a large blowhole caused by waves flowing beneath the coral, which creates a rainbow in front of you every time water shoots through it.

Alongside the albatross are the Nazca birds, crabs, sea lions, and vast numbers of marine iguanas sunning themselves on the rocks, all within the picturesque setting of deep blue coastline.

In the afternoon we landed on San Cristobal Island, one of the 5 inhabited islands in the Galapagos archipelago, where we hiked across the island in order to visit the Galapaguera, the tortoise breeding center. Here passengers can learn about the National Park's giant tortoise breeding program, and if you are lucky you might even see a few.

Back at the ship we all got together for a farewell drink and watched a video summary of what we had seen and learned during our time; a helpful and entertaining way to recap all the different experiences we had had in such a relatively short time.

Most Galapagos Islands tours offer the chance to extend your stay with visits to the western islands, which I would wholeheartedly recommend for a comprehensive experience - the landscape and views in this area are said to be simply magnificent.

Unfortunately for us, we were leaving the Galapagos Islands early, but not before one final excursion in a dingy along the coast to say goodbye to a nearby raft of sea lions and sharks.

Back on the boat we were served snacks and fruit juice by the pool, danced our last dance and took our last photos to remember our new friends before our group was called to disembark, a lovely ending to the trip of a lifetime.

This eyewitness account to Galapagos Islands vacations was written by a travel-loving expert at Peru For Less, a member of the Latin America For Less family.

Latin America For Less, a US travel agency established in 1998, offers a complete South America vacation service to destinations across Latin America, including Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Chile and Bolivia.

The company is unique in its ability to offer a price match guarantee as well as the highest standards in quality and customer service.

Fully customized itineraries coupled with personal and friendly service are the hallmarks of a Latin America For Less vacation.

Maui Halaekela - House of Sun

Halekala National Park is Maui's main natural attraction. It is estimated that every year around 1.3 million people visit this spot and it is 10,023 foot high. The entire Maui is at its feet and a clear view can be easily obtained. This is considered to be an active volcano even though it has not erupted since 1790. The hole would hold Manhattan which is 3000 deep, 7 ½ miles long by 2 ½ miles wide covering a total area up to 19 square miles. The local people regard this mountain to be a sacred site. Pu'u o Maui is the tallest cinder in the crater and is 500 feet high from the crater's floor. The drive through the uphill can be a life time experience. Tourists can reach Haleakala on foot, bicycle, car, and horseback. Private instructors and guides can be appointed by the tourists. There are some things which must be ensured before climbing the hill. Some of them are
• The toll free number is given to check the weather conditions. It is 808-871-5054

• The price of ticket to park vehicles ranges from $5 to $10.

• The drive will take up to 2 ½ hours which will give dramatic experiences.

• The top of the hill will have colder climate and temperature. It is good to bring jackets and sweaters to protect from the biting cold temperature.

• People with heart disorders must consult their physicians before venturing out and should not attempt hiking.

• It is a good practice to fill the car tanks as there are no gas stations on the way. There are no shops available and it's advised to take all the snacks and other required things before starting the trip.

• A clear view of the crater floor can be easily obtained when the altitude rises. The clouds get merged and this can be a lifetime experience for the first timers.

• It is good to stick to the speed rules. Obey the signs shown and be careful while driving.

An interesting fact to know is that for every 1000 feet above the mountain range, the temperature drops by 3 degree. Hence it will be 30 degree cooler than the normal sea temperature. It is important to have sweaters to survive the extreme conditions there. Leleiwi can be reached in a short time on reaching the park. A panoramic view known as the "Specter of the Brocken" will give the reflection of your shadow surrounded by rainbow. It's an optical illusion caused by the rare combination of sun, shadow, and fog which occurs only in three places around the globe. They are in Haleakala, Scotland and Germany.

One can successively reach Kalahaku Overlook, Haleakala Visitor Center, Puu Ulaula Overlook and the Science City and they all can give some of the life's best moments. A handy camera would be a good companion to record all the moments.
visit mauiactivitylady.com

Plenty of Sand on the Costa Blanca

The Costa Blanca is where you want to go for a Mediterranean beach vacation. Here is some information to help you plan your visit to this popular area of Spain.

As you can guess from its name, the "White Coast" has plenty of white sandy beaches that extend for miles. There are eight cities along the Costa Blanca that are good places to be your home base during your visit. Your best bet for a home base may be Javea.
Javea is one of the northernmost cities of Costa Blanca. Denia is first, followed by Javea, then Moraira, Altea, Benidorm, Guardamar, Torrevieja and Pilar de la Horadada in the south. If you rent a car, you can easily move from one city to the next. You can get a rental car at the airport in Alicante.

Javea is popular with many tourists because of its beautiful landscape. Did you know that it is a World Heritage site? In Javea, you can actually see a bullfight taking place in the streets. Several streets are closed off to the public and the bulls are housed in an impromptu corral area. Young men are encouraged to enter the area and fight off the bulls, some of whom have had their horns ignited with gasoline.

If you prefer somewhat less violent entertainment, visit the raisin market. Javea is a major exporter of Moscatel grapes, the grapes and raisins are an important byproduct. At the raisin market you can buy virtually anything having to do with this favorite fruit.

Of course, you should not visit Javea, or any of the Costa Blanca, without spending time on the beautiful beach. Work on your tan and listen to the waves of the Mediterranean. All your day-to-day worries will disappear. The Costa Blanca is a great place to "people watch" as the Costa Blanca is a top vacation spot for Europeans. You will be amazed at the many languages and cultures that are represented here each summer.

Because the area is so popular, it is best to plan your trip well in advance. Even six months in advance is not too early to make your reservations. Search online for vacations in Spain to determine what you and your family would like best. Be sure to consider your budget. Fortunately, you can get plenty of discount flights through Alicante Airport nearby. You can also find many package deals that combine airfare, accommodations and ground transportation at great savings.

Some people like the Costa Blanca so much, they choose to retire here. This is a great option because the climate is so mild and the cost of living is comparatively low. This is certainly the case for flights to Honolulu and other popular vacation destinations. And while you may think it still costs an arm and a leg to get to where you want to go, lower prices are available with a bit of work and online research on your part.
The first important tip to remember when shopping for a cheaper air fare is to keep a flexible schedule and plan ahead like crazy. When it comes to continental U.S. flights it is recommended you book your trip at least three weeks in advance, but when talking about travel to Honolulu you should plan ahead by about three months. Also, when booking your travel online you should play with switching your departure and arrival dates; many times it is cheaper to fly on the weekdays versus the weekends.

There are several air carriers that offer discounted flights in the form of all-inclusive vacation packages that include hotels and rental cars. If you are going to be spending on these items anyway during a trip you might as well save by purchasing them in a package. You can usually find serious discounts in the travel section of most major newspapers in the United States, and often these deals must be purchased through local travel agents.

Finally, if you are willing to consider traveling to Honolulu after the school year starts in early September, you may be able to save a bit. Because of the traditional "off-season" that occurs from September through mid-December airlines often cut fares in order to fill flights.

When looking for discounted air fares it is always best to spend time looking at as many offers as possible. Because there are so many different carriers and travel companies involved, some websites will offer deals that others cannot. If you’ve never heard of a cruise to nowhere, it isn’t too surprising; until just a few years ago these totally on ship vacations didn’t exist! But with more and more of the luxury cruise liners adding amazing amenities like virtual golf, rock walls, award winning meals and top class entertainment, it became clear that travelers could have a perfectly great vacation without leaving the ship
The most common cruises to nowhere can last anywhere from two nights to a more regular cruise length of seven or even ten days. For the most part these cruises have no itinerary as there are no port calls or schedule stops. In fact, there are even a sort of day cruise to nowhere, which does not include overnight accommodations and returns to the port of sailing late in the evening. For the most part these smaller day cruises are usually used by companies as corporate retreats, or sometimes offered complimentary to perspective travelers to showcase a ship’s on-board comforts and attractions.

At the time of this writing there seemed to be an ample amount of cruises to nowhere available for very affordable prices. For example, we found a Princess cruise to nowhere that started at around sixty-dollars a night, and traveled in the U.S. Pacific Coast region. This cruise departed from the Los Angeles area, and other west coast departures are possible as well including San Francisco, Seattle and even Victoria BC.

Our friends over across the Atlantic also had some great options, including the Norwegian cruise to nowhere that departed from Seattle at a rate of around seventy-dollars a day. The vacation takes place on the Norwegian Star Cruise ship which includes all modern luxury options like swimming, good dining and comfortable state rooms. You can even try out the cabin beds! There are also other Norwegian cruises to nowhere that depart from the eastern seaboard in New York City or Boston.

Finally there are also several two-day Carnival cruise to nowhere options, with ports of departure like New York and Norfolk, Virginia. These events are affordable and present a great opportunity to experience the luxury of one of Carnival’s ships like the Carnival Dream, Miracle or Triumph. At this time we were not able to locate an Alaskan cruise to nowhere trips as those routes are more limited in staying close to shore due to Arctic Sea conditions and ice buildup.

Finding a discount cruise to nowhere package isn’t that hard when searching multiple websites and cruise companies online. These shorter trips will allow you to try all the experiences of a longer vacation at a much lower cost. And if you are nervous about taking a cruise vacation, these are good “tests” to determine your true reaction to time away at sea.

Camping and Caravanning, Cheap alternatif of Holiday

A holiday plan coming When money is tight, many people are forced to curtail their holiday spending and therefore the number of holidays they take. However, there are plenty of ways to reduce the amount of money a holiday costs with a little creative thinking. Instead of reducing the number of holidays planned for the future, many are choosing to spend a little more time in the preparation phase to ensure that they can spend more time enjoying themselves on holidays.
There are plenty of ways to spend less cash on holidays, from booking trips well in advance to snapping up good deals early and searching for discount hotels rooms or transport. However, one of the best ways to make sure that spending is kept well within holiday budgets is to choose to provide accommodation and transport for yourself.
It's no coincidence that in times of financial strain the number of people choosing camping holidays rises. Not only do holidaymakers save themselves from having to pay for hotels in their desired holiday spot but the advantages to driving to your holiday destination yourself are manifold. When people aren't tied to their accommodation not only are they able to take their holidays at their own pace, but they will also have the opportunity to discover off the beaten trail destinations and attractions when visiting new places.
Not content with containing themselves to a tent, many also choose to enhance their situation further by attaching a caravan to their envoy. A caravan is an ideal choice when looking for freedom to explore on holidays as all tourists have to do is hitch it to the back of their vehicle and they'll be safe in the knowledge that they'll always have somewhere comfortable to sleep when night falls.
Caravanning trips need not be confined to the home country of the travellers either, as many international ferries have provisions for caravans that make it easy for caravanning fans to take their portable home away from home overseas. And of course, like camping, caravanning offers plenty of money-saving benefits. From the chance to make your own packed lunches for enjoying on the move to the happy fact you won't be hit with surprise additions to a hotel bill, caravans are great for thrifty travellers.
Once tourists have a full tank of petrol, the all important caravan insurance and a food supply, they are ready to roll and start exploring the terrain of their chosen holiday destination without having to worry about spiralling costs.

European Backpacking Tips

Everyone needs holiday, some people think it can refresh their mind. If you are looking for a great holiday idea, it is highly recommended that you backpack in Europe. Everyone knows Europe. It is a very unique experience that everyone should have at least once. Odds are, if you do it once you will probably want to do it again.
When you are deciding when is the best time of year to backpack in Europe, there are many things you need to take into consideration. The summer is definitely the time of year when most people go backpacking. This is convenient because it makes it easier for you to gather up a group of people that want to go hiking with you. The downside to going backpacking in and around Europe in the summer is that the prices are higher at this time of the year. If you are going to go in the summer, it is important to make reservations ahead of time. Since this is the busiest time of the year, it is often booked months ahead.
If you decide to go in the summer, it does not matter which summer month you choose, as they all will be generally priced the same. As for the winter, there are some obvious downsides to it. The weather is not as nice, and it is harder to find people to go backpacking with you! If you are on a budget, though, going backpacking in Europe in the winter is a great alternative.
When you go on your trip, it is a good idea to get backpacker holiday insurance. This protects you and your gear in case of an accident. If a medical situation arises, the insurance will cover you. Also, if something is lost or stolen that is necessary for the trip, you will be glad that you purchased the backpacker insurance.
When packing for the trip, it is important to take as little as you can with you. You may be worried about packing every little thing that you need for your trip, but that will make your pack heavier (a lightweight backpack can counter this). If you are staying at a hostel, they offer free or cheap laundry services, which makes the pack much smaller. It is good to take about 4 to 5 days worth of clothes with you. It is important to remember that if something happens to your stuff while on the trip, there will be an opportunity to replace it at a decent price.
Now that you have planned your backpacking trip, all you need to do is select a destination. Your starting point is really not that important since you will be backpacking all over Europe. You will find that there are cheaper rates when flying to a big city, such as London. Before you go off on your trip is important to make some kind of an itinerary. Included in this, you want to have all of the must-see places listed. When making your itinerary, be sure to give yourself some freedom and extra time, that way if something arises that you want to check out, you will have plenty of time to do so.

Place Your Banner In This Blog

<p>Loading...</p>

Exciting Water Sports in St Lucia Holidays

Famous for its breath-taking beauty of sparkling blue waters and golden beaches lined with palms, St-Lucia is the ideal destination for water-sports-lovers. Tasmania is the name of the island as well as being one of the seven Australian states. Sometimes referred to as the Natural State, or the Island of Inspiration, almost 40 percent of Tasmania's land is preserved as a World Heritage Listed area. This temperate island paradise boasts 20 national parks, and the mild sunny climate makes this a prosperous region for making fine foods and wine.
The capitol of Tasmania is Australia's second oldest city, Hobart. With the River Derwent running through it and Mount Wellington just behind, Hobart does not lack charm and beauty.
